Understanding the Kuria Culture forms a good basis to run successful advocacy programmes. Many advocacy programmes fail to achieve the intended results because the proponents do not have a good understanding of the Kuria culture making it difficult to have curated activities that have a positive impact but at the same time respecting the positive aspects of the Kuria culture. This way, such programmes are likely to receive commendable support from the local women. This is achieved through close interactions to gain the wommen's confidence and trust for effective grassroots advocacy.
